Jodie’s Bday!

On sat, our Gang (liang kai, jon, char, jodie, joel and I) headed down to Dempsy to celebrate JoJo’s bday.

 Even as i’m typing this now, i think shes having a steamboat right now, should have been there, but had to rest due to me having a bad stomach day.

Anyway, back to the main topic, yes, we went to Ben’s and Jerry’s for ice cream!!! Oh! And i saw an Aston Martin DB9 and a Maserati! The place was really packed, had to wait awhile to get seats. Eventually we settled down, the rest of us sitting down on normal chairs while the bday girl had this uber huge throne to herself *pics will come up later*. It was a fun time of indulging in sinful food and the Most awesome company one could find on this planet. Well, save for 3 areas…

1) This female waitress totally ruined the surprise by taking the ‘cake’ to our table and asking if we wanna light the candle up now. Oh my goodness! I was flabberglasted! She caught it, but well, the ‘damage’ has already being done. Well, no one’s perfect, hope she learnt something that day

2) Haha, there was a point of time where the table was spilt into half, the first group being char and jon eating their oh-so-fabulous “whatever they ordered that day, i forgot already * and the second group being the three handsome guys, LK, Joel and me talking about our ministries. I reckon we talked for about 20+ mins much to the chargin of the Bday gal and the two people devouring their ice cream. So from this day onwards, JX here is gonna suggest a rule, no more talk about ministry when we come together, ok, maybe for only the first 20 mins. Actually, i already foresee alot of problems with that, so we’ll see, haha!

3) The bday girl did not do any forfeit!!! Actually, we wanted her to dance on the table, but haha, it didn’t come to pass. Whats a bday without forfeits man? Its ok Jodie, you’ll be 21st next year, we’ll just carry over what we wanted you to do this year, haha!

After Dempsey, we being the random ppl we are, took a drive to Kent Ridgepark (was it Kent Ridge park?). Just had a fun time walking ard the park and talking but the highlight of the day was when Jon, Joel and I managed to trick the rest of them. What we did was that we went up much further ahead and then ran towards them, screaming and pointing behind us, i wished i had a video of the whole thign to show you guys! Haha! They totally fell for it and started running, and guess what?! Jodie thought we were being chased by WILD BOARS!!!! HAHA!!! Wild boars indeed! My goodness, her brain does conjure up some funny stuff at times

Oh, and typing that above just reminded of something! Haha, we humans are very much influenced by what we see others do, case in point, the incident above. For the guys out there, try this next time. When you enter a restroom, you’ll see people at the sinks washing their hands etc right? Go there  and start to take a few mins to touch up your hair. Out of all the guys who come to use the sinks next, at least 80% of them will touch up their hair too! Haha! Just a fun fact for you, been there done there, lol!

Haha, all in all, it was a great day and we celebrated her bday in Jon’s car with the car horning to the Happy Birthday tune and generally, making alot of noise and being crazy. Well, thats the Gang for you

My Very First Post!

As you can see from the title, this is my very first attempt at blogging. So today, i’m officially initiated into the Blogging Family, as quoted by a friend of mine.

Let’s see, hmm, i’m already having writer’s block! Haha! And its only the first time! Well, that same friend of mine told me that i can just write about anything i want…

Lets see… Oh yes, to all the Man Utd fans out there, we made it!!! Haha! 1 – 0 for the 2nd leg at porto, and we finally broke the portugese curse! haha!
